no no, i didn't make her cry. we're supposed to be sadly entrappped animals, and she's afraid of the slithering snake. ai yoh, tuition with effie is so exhausting. i can't imagine myself being as hyperactive as her when i was young. what's worse, i can't imagine my siblings and parents having the urge to strangle me just to keep me from running about the house. because that's just what i feel like doing whenever she deviates from studying her ting xie and starts doing all sorts of strange stuff. and i definitely do not have a sadistic streak in me. that day her younger sister, estee, was at home and it was simply disastrous dealing with the two of them! after 2 hours of tuition (still think babysitting is more apt) i had to help the two construct a disney princess tent. it's something like those bright colourful kinds of tents people use when they go picnicking at east coast park. just that theirs is much smaller, entirely pink, and maybe a little cuter. even though i didn't manage to finish building the tent and camp in there with them, they were already so excited to jump around in a collapsing, pathetic-looking tent. so easily contented, and forever so happy.
see, she's so very adorable. how to be fierce towards her?and so i've got another tuition session with her today. another visit to the zoo! just hoping for a miracle that this wild rabbit will become tame soon..
