happy chinese new year!

happy chinese new year, everyone! my angel says i should update my blog more often, so here i am being a good obedient mortal!

my favourite time of the year :) especially new year's eve! i love reunion dinners - the 6 of us crowding around this big feast, when what really matters most isnt the food, but the kinship that we all share! lol so mushy.

then everyone goes "小弟吃!" simultaneously. haha wont forget how my bro gives his silly grin whenever we do that! not fair la, the youngest always gets pampered!

hrmm was at my grandma's hse (maternal side) in malaysia celebrating cny. everything's pretty much the same as past years. gambled with cousins on the "big small" dice game. haha my auntie actually bought this dice game together with the piece of paper to place bets! and guess what - my small p3 cousin was the banker! hilarious sight to see so many grown ups (and children older than him too) crowding around this little kid and placing bets, eagerly waiting for him to shake the dice, reveal the outcome, then give out winnings/claim losses. must say he was a really lucky banker! i ended up losing 2 ringgit to him la! he really win liao lor..

apart from gambling, the rest of the time was spent on visiting other relatives in malaysia, entertaining this really adorable cousin whom i really like, and playing with the rest of the kids. since i dont belong in the grown up clique where they pester my sisters about their boyfriends and marriage (well actually i can't wait for my sisters to get married too!), i found myself relegated to join the kids' gang! okay not so bad la, it was time well spent on bonding with my bunch of cousins :D seriously, it's much much easier to be a kid. gone were the days when we could all jump around to the oblivion of everything and everyone else! plus it's so hard to keep up with the adults' conversations. i guess someday i'll have to learn.

the past few days had been nice and fun-filled for me! if only we can enjoy 9 days of cny holidays, like the lucky malaysians! time really flies when you're having fun!
