well! yesterday was huangcheng night. before that went for nus open house with cihan, ying2 and kim. super sian and listless! talks were boring, exhibitions were boring, and we were all really bored. so we just bore our way through the campus for a while before leaving for bugis!
haha so we had a lot of fun taking neoprints and walking around! :D much much happier than when we were in nus. =X
huangcheng was better than last year's, i think. but couldn't understand the first play. the funny parts werent exactly hilarious, and the touching parts turned out quite funny. i had mixed emotions about the plot as well. i liked the second play though! in particular the background music was good, think they got the soundtrack from the vampire show! hahaha took me quite a while to figure that out. then third play, quite cool how they likened company rivalry to a game of chess. but other than that i really didnt feel anything in particular for the plot. in any case, great job to all the huangcheng people! :) i might not understand all the cheem chinese drama, but at least we could all sense their deep passion and commitment!
here's a page from ji mi's "love in the cards". don't you think it's really really sad? hope all the happy faces i see now are genuine, because if they aren't, then i don't know what's real anymore. and i hope happy clowns do exist. haha, by right, people who give joy to others are the happiest. but if things work by left, then perhaps happiness becomes surreal. everyone be happyists! ;)
i really love ji mi's works. a picture speaks a thousand words. yeah! if my life were to be summarized in such a book, i hope it would be filled with rainbows! to be read upside-down of course haha!
