wah, played bridge at scba from 7.30 till 11pm yesterday. was almost falling asleep while playing the last few boards - ended up discarding winners -.- haha but partnership with chengyen was not bad! first time we played together, plus i made so many mistakes (as usual). it was surprising that we managed to get cool results for yesterday's game! a nice pleasant surprise :)
maybe luck does matter in bridge after all. seems like i was really lucky yesterday. haha, sometimes opponents just make mistakes, sometimes you just do stupid things at the spur of the moment, sometimes the tournament director gets involved. perhaps good card play depends largely on skill, but personally i think i need luck to ensure that i don't make mistakes, and tons of good luck to meet unlucky opponents.

don't like playing bridge at night. because after that i just can't bring myself to sleep; no matter how tired i am, the brain just refuses to rest. can't imagine myself playing bridge 3 days in a row next week. -zombie-fied- :O
anw! this week has been rather slack and nice! playing snap, speed and bridge at class bench has been a good source of entertainment. watching delin and guang feng play bridge ar.. it's really a one-in-a-lifetime experience man. then you see chuan yuan almost about to vomit blood, huiwen with her crazy hysterical laughter, and kim with her cheeks to the brink of cramping.. can really die laughing!

i love this song! simplicity rocks. complexities (boo you, complex numbers!) bring in too many grey areas. but if feelings weren't complex, we'll all be either happy or sad robots, which is super lame. this is so contradictory. maybe if the human brain and heart weren't this complicated, i wouldn't even come to this conclusion. ok im not making sense hahaha.
